Cali is the host of the COP16, the most important world Summit on biodiversity.
Surrounded by 7 rivers, ecosystems, wetlands and more than 500 species of birds, it is undoubtedly a biodiversity capital by excellence.
Valle del Cauca has the most diversified energy matrix in Colombia with 99% of renewable sources. It has the most sophisticated and diversified economy in the country. Origin of 12% of the country’s non-mining goods.
It is located in the nerve center of the Pacific Region and the Southwest of Colombia, an area recognized for its biodiversity and renowned for being one of the places with the highest endemism and biological diversity in the world.
Valle del Cauca is the third region of greatest economic relevance in Colombia, contributing 10% of the national GDP, concentrates 18% of the national industry and 22% of the agro-industry in just 2% of the Colombian territory.
