Newsletter 29 – Conway recognize Invest Pacific’s strategies for attracting investment to the region

Conway, a renowned American consulting firm, specialized in supporting international expansion projects, visited Cali within the framework of a strategic agenda it held in Colombia, to learn first-hand the strategies and achievements in investment promotion led by Invest Pacific, along with other public and private local actors, as well as to connect with those key players that affect the positioning of Cali and Valle del Cauca as ideal destinations for investors.

During their visit to Cali, Adam Jones-Kelley, Conway’s President, Bobby Pereira, Conway’s Latin America Director and Pilar Cerón, Conway’s Regional Director in Colombia, had a relationship space, promoted with the support of Invest Pacific, which counted with the participation of free trade zones, entities and guilds of the region. They also visited Zonamerica, the first free trade zone specialized in services in Colombia, which has been accompanied by Invest Pacific.

Conway’s visit to Cali is of great importance, given the prestige of this consulting firm. Precisely in 2018, Invest Pacific was recognized by Site Selection Magazine, a Conway publication, as one of the best investment promotion agencies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

“I was greatly impressed by everything I saw and learned during my visit to Colombia. The country is experiencing remarkable and explosive growth, and they are achieving sound economic development, instituting the right policies for long-term development. The Cali region, in particular, is developing the workforce needed to attract investment from around the world. Cali seems on track to become one of the country’s most important economic regions per capita,” noted Adam Jones-Kelley, President of Conway.

Networking opportunities like these strengthen relationships between regional players and important international allies. Likewise, they contribute to energizing the valuable task of potentiating the region as a strategic destination for foreign investors, as has been achieved in the last eight years, with the leadership of Invest Pacific, in a cohesive work with local institutions.
